Samantha Kane of Kane-MacKay & Associates, a UCStrategies (Unifiec Communication Strategies) Expert, wrote this article on 'Internet of Things and UNified Communications' as a lead up to the UC Summit 2012 May 6-9 in La Jolla, CA. The article surveys the new term 'Internet of Things' from a US perspective and specifically points to ebbits as 'a European group currently working on a portion of IoT called EBBITS (Enabling Business Based Internet of Things and Services)' and she terms the impact that ebbits can have as 'significant'.
