The objective of the workshop was to explore and debate several major inter-connected themes which are expected to have a significant impact on the development of next generation enterprise systems. Some very stringent issues and innovative ideas were discussed, starting with new business values, value objects and constellations, a new vision of the Sensing Enterprise, or the characteristics, properties and architectural design principles for the enterprise systems.
